For the past 60 years the St Nicholas Greek Food Festival has been a highlight event for Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas. Guests come from all over to enjoy our food and hospitality.
Festival preparations, by our countless volunteers, are staggering! With a demanding cooking schedule, volunteers meet regularly to transform over a thousand pounds of butter, sugar and eggs into our authetic Greek food and pastries for your enjoyment.
Please join us during Food Festival week, as we share our Greek heritage and traditions through our hospitality, our food and our music and dancing. OPA! Typically, our Food Festival runs for the first full week in May, following the conclusion of our Orthodox Easter observation. The week is a celebration for us, as we share our amazing cuisine, customs, dances, and spirit with our Pittsburgh community! Volunteers spend countless hours preparing our delicious delicacies. The recipes are authentic, and the preparation is truly a labor of love.
Our entire community is involved down to our students and youth, who have devoted many hours to learning and perfecting their Greek dance skills.

When our Food Festival for 2020 was cancelled, we responded with “Greek2Go”. It is the same, delicious traditional food and pastry at our Festival, packaged and prepared for you on selected Saturdays. All ordering and payment takes place online, and we invite you to get your Greek food fix when we host these dinners! Check out the Greek2Go link for more information.
